Thread: Straightening bone?

Glen,
I'm not sure of the maker, their the "light bone" from Classic Shaving. I'm not at all saying anything negative about the business, I'm not upset in any way because it's a natural material and not man made.
Anyway, I have already pinned the razor not knowing any better but both sides of the scales had an outward bow out of the package (like a Y shape from the pinned end)
Also here is a pic if it helps and one just to show the beauty of the scales, if all else fails I'll just deal with it because they look great. This is the one that I posted about that I received as a Christmas gift from my uncle, it belonged to my great grandfather. I honed it up and have shaved with it several times but the acrylic scales had some cracks around the pin so I wanted to replace the, with something of better quality since I won't be parting with it in this lifetime.
