No need to apologize. I sometimes come across as having stronger feelings about things than I actually do.
The reason the dermatologist recommended the baby oil was that I had severe allergic reactions to both the perscription cream and the pills. Like I said, it has worked with no ill effects, but as with many things YMMV. If you want to see something truly scary, look at the complete list of known and possible carcinogens realeased by the state of California each year. It's surprising. I figure why worry, you've got to die sometime.

Well to throw my 2 cents in I use the oil for my beard and mustache trimmer on my blades and have had no ill effects so far. It's sitting there and it has that handy little dropper tip on it no muss no fuss.

Thanked: 498I live within 100 mile radius of at least 3 nuclear power plants, one of which had the worst nuclear disaster in the U.S. history, Three Mile Island. Trust me I have bigger fish to fry. Now if you will excuse me I have to go to the bathroom. I think I'll use my second penis today. Should urine glow like that?

Thanked: 275I think that "Camellia Oil" is actually mineral oil with some camellia scent added. So it's _not_ vegetable oil, and it won't harden or go rancid.
I suspect that modern "choji oil" (clove-scented, used for Japanese swords) is also mineral-oil based.
Lynn ought to know for sure.
