Thanked: 8C utz, the epoxy I use works on almost anything. For liners, if you can get micarta then that would be ideal.
The reason I use liners is to create a lmination therefore strengthening wood that may be fragile.

Thanked: 324For laminated scales, I've decided on titanium. It's a b**ch to cut and shape and a bit on the pricey side but it's very strong, lightweight, is springy and resistant to creasing. These are problems I've found with other liner materials that were all solved with titanium.

Get'em to do my bolsters and caps.. Awww what the heck.. The blade as well
