Do tell about the "used correctly!" What method do you use to get the best out of the Turtle Wax green stuff? I will run to Wally World to get some! My two straights have been put through neglect hell this last month and I need to get them looking decent again.

From my experience the rubbing compound works best when buffed with high friction. That means a buffer, dremel,... It is pretty liquid stuff compared to Maas for example. A little goes a long way. I personally get the best result when used on a felt polishing wheel, tip or bob. Be advised to be very careful when using a dremel. I never go higher than 10.000 rpm. Hand rubbing the stuff works too but imo not as good unless you spend a longer time hand buffing.
