    Default Mothers Metal Polish

I have heard of alot of people using the mothers brand of metal polish and was wondering which polish works better for polishing carbon steel. Mothers makes a billet polish and also a mag & aluminum polish and if someone could tell me which of these two works better it would be greatly appreciated. Also I am open to suggestions if someone wants to put forth their opinion if there is something better. Thanks.

To be honest I haven't used the billet polish, but I do use the Mag & Aluminum polish exlusively on every razor I've done and it works great. I'll also follow it up with Blue Magic to get things really gleaming

My goto polish out in the shop is the "Blue Magic" in the house for final quick stuff before the razor heads home I use MAAS or Flitz

The list of what I have tried is quite extensive I haven't found any better than those three yet, many are as good, but these are available locally (a big deal in the boonies) and rather cheap so I stick with them....

Maas, Blue Magic and the green Turtle rubbing compound is what I use and get excellent results with. Those 3 will always have a place on my shelf.

Isn't a weird one that the Turtle Wax Rubbing compound works better than the polishing ????? I never use the polishing at all anymore

So I am at Walmart right now buying the rubbing compound and noticed they also have a scratch & swirl Remover and was wondering if anyone has tried it.

I know. I could never figure it out. I still have a full version of the black turtle polishing compound on the shelf. I even tried it on car stuff and was un-impressed. The green however can do magic when used correctly.
