    Default More Before & After

Here are the "before pix of some recent" restoration/regrinds. The first is a 7/8 Joseph Elliot, the second is a (little over) 6/8 W&B, and the last is a W&B that was actually in very good condition to start with, except for the corrosion. I was going to lose the etch anyway to get the rust off, so I opted to regrind (that one was pretty easy)

Default Here are the same ones after regrinding/handling

The second one is probably my proudest achievement...I honestly wasnt sure it could be saved.

Default And Here Are a Few Extras :D

    1. 15/16 Wade & Butcher 1/4 hollow. Stabilized pomelle sapelle handles.
    2. 7/8 Jonathan Hunt full hollow. Black maeri scales with tru-oil finish
    3. 8/8 Henckels Friodur. Bocote handles with CA finish. The wood's too oily for tru-oil to dry on it.

Very nice Joe, I really like the look of that Bocote wood.

Joe what is the wood used on your "proudest achievement"?

    WAIT a second Joe!
Is that second one, the SAME second one that is in the 'before' image?
Did you add a notch to the tip?!

If so, WOW! (that's the best I can come up with...)
