Thanked: 116Nice job, how do you plan on honing it? what's your progression of strokes/stones?

I already use jap waterstone to sharpening my gouges.
so I'll use the same stone series to sharpenig this razor
i'll start with 1000 grid, then 4000, 8000 to end with a 10000
but any suggestion is welcome

Thanked: 116If that progression gives you the desired results, gives you a comfortable shave, then keep on going with it! It sounds like you have a good routine!

Nicely done work from the photos. The old razors can be habit forming!
