Oh god, do I ever know how that feels. Especially dropping it on the part of the carpet under the coffee table where my cat likes to snooze, so I endup with a nice fuzzy scale.

Since, I'm usually using the red "hot stuff" I rarely have problems with air bubbles. Lately, once I think I got enough coats (10+), I'll give everything a good sanding and then still just apply another layer or two to fill in the any little pits that would just need too much sanding.

Maybe there's something other than CA to try anyway. I remember in another thread some member recommended flex-cote epoxy. Apparently the stuff is quite thin and dries hard enough to polish up.
