I'll just offer more elaboration on #2:
You should get BOTH types of washers.
#0 = for outside the scales
#0W = a buffer b/w the tang an the scales at the pivot-pin (and only at that location)

Thank you both for your help. I'll try to get an order in tommorow for some of those washers, quite a few in both sizes as reccomnded, If liners are not that iportant, then I can get to making a set of scales for these two blades I have sooner than I thought.

You can also use the FWBW0 for making bullseye pins. Stack a small one on top of a big one and peen. Particularly after you buff them together, which rounds the edges and smooths them out, it looks similar to one of the old bullseye pins. I don't care for the FWBW0 at the pivot...they're too thick to me. I prefer the .062"IDx.188"ODx.010" thick phosphor bronze ones I get from smallparts.com. That's just a preference thing, though.
