I never noticed it to be that way, have to read up on pastes.
I've got some really fast yellow stuff, greasy like a tank mechanic, would that be slower than a greaseless with the same grit?
I didn't think the grease/fat/tallow/wax/oil or whatever binder did matter so much for the removal part, more on the stick good on your tools but hard to clean.

Opening boxes in the garage :-)

Some guy sent me a razor in an envelope the other day and inside it was wrapped so tight with plastic and tape I had to take a box cutter to it !

OT I know, but it reminds me of my wife talking the ear off a partially deaf old american gent on a coach in Italy (he had just informed us as we passed Monte Cassino in a voice loud enough for the whole coach to hear that '..the last time I saw that place I was dropping bombs on it..." - italian driver and guide were not impressed). He had the grace to look as if he understood what she was saying, then when she paused for breath he said '...lady, I don't understand a damn word you're saying...' I enjoyed that, and the look on her face, immensely.

    Regards,
    Neil

Well Im Glad I ordered 4 inch wheels! Something right on the first shot. That's getting rare !
I ordered Sissal though for the 5 lower number greaseless compounds and cotton sewn for the rest.
