Thanked: 105Here is a one that I found here. There are probably more but that is the one that came to mind. Chris made some real nice boxes.

Thanked: 4830Those are very nice. Reminds me of the Puma boxes. I am making general boxes. I didn't have any paper boxes to measure. I was looking for the info that oldblades posted. Thanks for the help. I have a crude prototype glued up in the shed.

the lid is on a simple pivot. I have some minor joinery issues to resolve. I will do another one tonight and see about loading some better images in a couple of days

Thanked: 4830thanks. I'll get those tightened up a little and inset the bottom on the next ones. I'm not very good at figuring stuff out on paper in advance. I usually have them evolve and then do a run of twenty or so.

Thanked: 522Fancy cigar shops often sell empty cigar boxes and some of them are well constructed and cheap. You might find some box ideas there.
