    the last 2 i put scales on had warped tang/spine .. one was easily tapped over , the other i couldnt so i took it back apart and put a flattened washer on the side that was rubbing and a non flattened washer on the other side and was then able to center through tapping ...

    Had an old Wostie pipe razor that had a bent tang fixed using the vise method in wiki.
