I used to bowl twenty some years ago. Had a black U-dot and a red hammer. Great hook balls drilled full finger tip. I began having trouble with my finger joints and that ended the sport for me. Ain't worth the pain.

If u want a bowling ball look with out having to chop apart a bowling ball check out (google) kirinite. I jut got some and made a set of scales for a pipe razor I have. When I get it pinned up ill post pics. But check out kirinite. The stuff is boss
Edit: here's the link. I assure you the material impressed me in person. It's a pleasure to work with and the pics do it no justice!

Yes it is, the 5" pieces are short. They sell sheets that are 10.5" they will give you plenty of length. I purchased a 5" piece of 3/16 of the lava flow. I have a short wosty pipe razor that took the 5" scales. After working with the material I am impressed. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the 10.5" sheet. It's worth every penny IMO. I will post pics of the scales when I get a chance.
