They look nice enough.
I'd make them a bit thinner, and I'd insert a decorative pin.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Thanked: 20I think they look great. I like the thickness of them myself. I do not think people realize that with wood unlike horn, plastic or acrylic that you need extra wood for the weight and I personal like a little more meat on my scales. I appreciate the hand work you did on this set and think they are wonderful, and think you will enjoy the feel of the wood while you shave.

I think inserting a pin might defeat the purpose. Although they are a bit austere they do have some zen simplicity to them.
