yes very fine wool with brand name "windex" we use to use "windex" and aluminum foil to polish up chrome grills on our jeeps.

any chemical polish for mags, silver ext touches the blades edge will dull it, so I put electrical tape on the cutting edge much like the spine when honing to protect it.
