Are the scales Bocote or a Maple variety ?
Those pins'n'washers are super sweet too.
    Bocote Yes... I Think.... Lol
The Pins Are Brass Rod, The Washers Are Double Stacked Large & Small.

The scales turned out nicely. I glued my fingers together and had no fingerprints for awhile the first and only time I tried a CA finish so far. Kept tipping them over on my desk and had to rush and pick them up with bare fingers. Is there a dark coloring on the washers like patina or is it from polishing them or maybe a reflection cause I have to say I really like that look. It would go well with razors that are left with patina and looking there age. It is a shame they won't hold the razor they were intended for.
