    Default Buying Scales

Hi guys, just wondering where you buy your scales from. I have been given a Bengall 7/8 wedge that needs new scales. I'm thinking maybe blond horn or something, but not wood; I don't want wooden scales...

I'm also not sure if I should try and do it myself or get some made and fitted.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Real men pluck their scales from dragons' legs. If you get the right distance up from the ankle, there's hardly any reshaping necessary. One from the left leg, one from the right. The first one is usually much easier to pluck than the second one.

You could also use bone, which is abundantly strewn about most dragons' lairs.

Carl I'd think you would have a hard time finding new scales to fit a 7/8. If you have the old ones I'd bet you could shape some up to match with few dramas but practice on some acrylic or timber first if you lash out for the cost of horn.
