Not so long ago I won a 2 DD Satinewedge sets of sclaes from eBay. I was very happy as I already planned how my Satinewedge blade going to find a new genuine per of scales. I cleaned and buffed the scales as much as I could, some pinning, oiling and overall I was quite pleased with the final result, that was 4 weeks ago...
Today I was curious to check out the blade again only to find that it suffers from a severe case of cell rot!
Now, I really felt very bad for the, probably, inevitable lost of both the scales and the blade (correct me if i'm wrong...please) but what is really bothering me now is the fact the it was laid all this time among with my other razor collection in the display cabinet. I'm adding some pics of the razor as I found it today and also an early picture of how it was placed before.
Please tell me what do you think I should do now. Can I still save the razor? Should I be worry for the other ones?
