    Default Oh god why?!

Not so long ago I won a 2 DD Satinewedge sets of sclaes from eBay. I was very happy as I already planned how my Satinewedge blade going to find a new genuine per of scales. I cleaned and buffed the scales as much as I could, some pinning, oiling and overall I was quite pleased with the final result, that was 4 weeks ago...
Today I was curious to check out the blade again only to find that it suffers from a severe case of cell rot!
Now, I really felt very bad for the, probably, inevitable lost of both the scales and the blade (correct me if i'm wrong...please) but what is really bothering me now is the fact the it was laid all this time among with my other razor collection in the display cabinet. I'm adding some pics of the razor as I found it today and also an early picture of how it was placed before.
Please tell me what do you think I should do now. Can I still save the razor? Should I be worry for the other ones?

Looks like the scales have to go, but I would pull it from your collection first. Not sure if a razor with cell rot can cause others to start rotting, but better safe than sorry. If you do get rid of the scales I would keep the inlays and bolsters incase you ever make another set of scales.

Cell rot is contagious! The gasses given off by the affected razor will harm the steel on any other razors stored in close proximity. Pop those pins and discard the scales.

As above, you other razors will most likly be okay, quaranteen the offender, oil the others and keep an eye on them. Also as above, soak the scales in acetone and remove the hardware for future use.

Should you see evidence of cell rot on your other razors, than all are doomed, you do not want to start a Pandemic.
The Hirlau razor conservatory in Florida has a razor crematorium,The conservator John is a very caring person that will dispose of all the other blades with care and dignity,I am sorry for you plight

Thanks for all the advices! I've checked again with the other blades and there is no sign for visible cell rot.
I also removed the bolsters and cleaned them, is it safe to use them in a future project? what about the spacer? should I get rid off the blade as well or can I clean and restore it?

Looks like you caught the blade early enough and it should be a good candidate for a restore & scales without a lot of work. Clean off the rust with soap & water along with like a sos pad or green scrubber. Remember that blade is still sharp...oh ya almost forgot: keep it oiled up real well until it's restored.
