    Default First scale making venture

Got an H. H. Hill "Blue Steel" razor off eBay that actually turned out to be an excellent shaver that had hardly no wear. The bone scales were a little less than perfect, and when I took the pins out to clean the razor, I made sure they weren't usable again...oh well.
That gave me the excuse to try to make some scales. Used Brazilian Rosewood, and put some wax/orange oil for finish. I could have done the wedge and pins better, but overall pleased with how they came out. Thanks for all the info here on SRP!
