    Default scale repair?

I just won a very nice ebay razor, and I believe it still has the original scales. One side is cracked right at the pivot pin, but the end is still intact. Can I repair the scale with superglue without removing the scale and repinning?

The scales are plastic or celluloid, nothing too fancy, but there is a nice pattern that I'd like to keep.

I'll try to post a picture tonight so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

I'd say that your chances are not good. You'll have to replace'em.

You will have to remove the scales. drill out the pin hole, insert brass tube with 1/16 inside diameter, and seal with thin epoxy, or superglue. Repeat on the other half of the scale. Repin, that's it...
