Default NICE union Cutlery Spike for Movember!!

Hard to see a Spike which has not been honed to death. HERE we go!
Needs a light clean/polish. Scales have shrunken a bit, but are sturdy and straight.
Super shavers in this condition, Gents. Easy, rewarding, little project for Movember, Gents. BID!

One of my favorite vintage models. Not pretty but very good shavers and easy to hone.

Yes, I suppose the precursor to the 'American Grind' wedge. Lots followed and even German grinders got in on it.
Pure function. I just love them. This one found it's way into my pile on condition.
I might just bid on it myself! Send the dough to Movember!

They are yellowish-green. I see a bit of shrinkage going by the wedge, but no signs of warpage nor rot.
All oxidation is indeed over the scale line and is minimal.
In fact, there was a thick coat of dried oil/grease before wiping down with WD.
Some of what is seen is that.
Factory grinding striations are evident over the whole blade.
