Thanked: 23Disburden,is the boron nitride a fast cutter like chromium?? the iron oxide seems quite slow compared to chromium but the last razor is the most strokes i've done with it,i have a couple i've touched up with it and a couple more where i did a few chromium strokes first, the touch ups have lasted a few shaves without any problems but this last one is the first straight after the stone so i'll do some more shaves and report back, there is also a lot more experimenting to be done with these super fine oxides and i'm also considering doing what Eleblu(think it was him)does with the chromium powder on a wet arkansas and then hone and it would make it easier to try my knives on it that way, honestly one of the main reasons i tried these oxides is because it's $3 bag and you get quite a bit he also has smaller bags plus he uses them himself and thinks they do a great job,i thought why not cost me $9 with delivery to Aus and gives me something else to play with in my quest for ultimate edges

From what I've been experiencing the CBN is very fast, I only do about 10 laps on the sprays strop and the edge is crazy after that.
Like I said, it's an amazing edge but since .125 is so fine things tend to break down quickly...
