    I could not tell you if is from a GD or not. The seller that I know of who remakes gold dollars is vorpal. His work is very good
    and his razors arrive with a superb edge. This one you are looking at does not look like his work to me.
    You can always ask the seller the question as to whether the razor is a modified GD.

    I would be less than inclined to buy anything from someone who thinks a plain old yellow lake oilstone is anywhere near a 15k hone...

    That thing is just janky
    One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

    I sort of like the scales, from the bit I could see, not fussed either way with the spine, the tang looks strange to say the least, and the engraving is really not very good at all. If you are going to engrave your initials then use a template or something. That's my opinion anyway.
