    While I myself would never pay more than so much money, I think this is not at all a "shameful" ebay item. It might be a shame that its not original, but the ingenuity to put this together is still impressive. Maybe they used it as a patch knife, perhaps that chip happened long after it was fashioned into a knife. Whos to say?
    Unique to be sure, and obviously, some one saw something worthy in it. I have a tailess blade made into a knife as well, nowhere near as well done. Eventually it will find its way into the "what are you working on" thread. =P
