    Yes, Chinese they are. Those are about the best I've seen. May be a good buy at that. The head shave Kamisori looks good. Usually the Chinese go for about Half that total, each. Haven't shaved with one though.Name:  Head shave.jpg

    A bigger razor than I have seen usually they are 6 inches total closed an about a two inch blade.

    I read somewhere that these were from the era of the California gold rush when they had Chinese laborers working the mines.

    They might have been pounded out of shovels, or any waste steel they could find.

    I'd buy a decent one or pair, just as a historical reminder.

    Just what I read, but can't remember where.

    I wouldn't pay that much for it I could use the scales, but I don't think the seller will entertain the offer I have in mind
