Oh no! It is a copy, a reproduction. Authentic Wostenholm stamp. 45 bucks BIN. Probably for reenactment or decor.

Funny part is, seller states it is new, never used!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

That just looks very nasty. Would not use to shave. Looks like it would crack apart and the like. At least it's brand new and never used right, let's hope it stays that way.

You don't have to scour the internet for your classic half smiling razor such as this:
You can now get your smirking razor ready made:

Just gross.
Amazing what you can do with an angle grinder and a dremel wire brush.

Gosh! What a beautiful razor! Oh, just put my glasses on. I'd call it a best buy for the myopic. I'm going to go watch some stupid Youtube stuff to get that image out of my brain.

Thanks Hart. I think you have just provided us with the perfect example of why knife guys aren't necessarily the same as SR guys. There is overlap.... but not in this case.
The seller says:For sale is a fully restored, shave ready Wade and Butcher Bow Blade Straight Razor. It was fitted with a Custom anodized Titanium handle. The hardware is stainless steel and the spacer is acrylic. Mirror Finish blade. This is a sweet razor that really stands out and it comes 100% shave ready. I will include a vinyl carry pouch with the purchase.Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.

Knife guy! I think you hit it, who else would use bars of titanium for scales. If you look at the other pics in the auction you have to wonder how he can kid himself that it has a mirror finish, it's so obviously full of grind marks he can't possibly think anyone would be fooled. For honing, I can imagine the seller holding it at the proper 20° angle and sawing away with it.
Really though, I'd qualify things by saying "bad knife guy" or "wanna be". There are plenty of knife makers who could do justice to a razor.Than ≠ Then
