I had a look at his sales the other day, it looks like there are some good bargains on there at the moment.
A good lather is half the shave.

Your right too, re the lower prices, I bought a FW Engels 11/16 original scales, superbly restored, on Monday for $70, hand honed and stropped, then oiled and what a great buy it was I shaved with it yesterday arvo, and it shaved great. On some occasions, if your cashed up, there are some Dorko's Puma's, it's a real 1st in 1st served thing, you can pick up some odd ones to recognised rippers. Ron of course is happy if you email him, give you as much history of the razor as he has himself. Great website and a quality bloke, the vendor, Ron Spencer. (rspe7027)

    Cheers Bob

I got an allegro marked razor from him earlier this year. I don't know anything about the guy, but the razor was a decent deal and in near new condition. It turns out to be probably my second favorite shaver of all of the razors I have, and I don't have much junk. It's super nice and rings like a bell on the strop.

He has a nice little wedge up there at the moment, I can't believe it's a relist. I don't have the spare cash until payday, it needs to hold out until then.

Has just listed a 15/16 Dorko in mint condition, he has $220 on it. I'd murder me mother to get this beautiful razor, there is a couple of days left on the auction. Fellas this razor is the best I've seen offered in a long time. It will go for more than the $220, I reckon. Original scales, etching intact and it glistens. It's as I said, the finest razor of this size 15/16 in a long time. If you've got a lazy couple of hundred sitting around get into it. I am skint at the moment, if had the cash I'd certainly not be telling a soul.....have a look, and let the moths out of your wallet, this is a prize exhibit. As an aussie would say, 'I',m spewing about it'

    Regards Bob

Errr, you mean the one that looks like the heel's been completely ground off & the nose was ground into an odd S shape ?
I really wouldn't be recomending that one. Looks like a severe restoration of some damaged areas to me.

The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

He does mention the modifications in his ad though. Just not the reasons behind the modification.

Allegro should've been "appell"....must've been sold to the french. Shaved with it again over the last two days, it's ground to paper thin and is wonderfully made - great shave.
