$1500 coticule
So has anyone else seen the $1500 coticule on ebay? He wants cash and local pick up only, oh yea and 1500 for one coticule. I messaged him because I thought for sure it was a typo, and no that's the price. I don't much like a coticule edge, I've tried my own and one on my FBU from glen. They shave but not nearly as sharp as a razor should be IMO. The only reason he claims it is so rare is because it's 12 in long. Any insight would be nice, I just don't see any coticule of any rarity being worth that price, but I could be wrong??

Ardenes sell 250mm x60mm for about 360 usd, that extra 2" on the listing is worth ~2 more 250x60 coticules.

There are some JNATS that if sold for that price would be dirt cheap. Some go for thousands.

It's been there for a long time. An uncle of mine who is a salesman and business owner (of the old brick and mortar type) who is known to run similar shenanigans would say..
.."it just needs the right buyer".
12 inch coticules are really uncommon. Maybe he'll run into a guy who has tens of millions of dollars and just has to have things that aren't common.
