Thanked: 4828I had really felt like I got the switcheroo. It happens by mistake if there are a lot going on. Then there was the no communication thing that left me feeling like it was on purpose. I just want to get the item I paid for, no tricks.

TBH, guys, besides the seller's words, the photos you have put up are showing stuff with condition and wear issues. These things should be dirt cheap. JMO

I rest my case.

Please see Kevin78's post below.
He did a stellar job in transforming this pooch into a superstar, however.
EDIT: Turns out I was wrong about the chipping. The eyes aren't the only thing that goes when you get old. I should have confirmed with Kevin 78 prior to posting. Just another case of entropy1049 being a dingleberry.Last edited by entropy1049; 09-18-2015 at 11:40 PM. Reason: I'm a dingleberry.
!! Enjoy the exquisite taste sharpening sharpening taste exquisite smooth. Please taste the taste enough to ride cutlery.

I would have thought the chips were from the pattern in the cloth underneath the razor. That is one reason I try not to use fluffy materials to set a razor on when taking pictures.

Thanked: 8The blade edge itself was in decent shape (my photos look as though the heel is ragged, but the illusion is caused by the fiber loops of the towel. The scales, however, were carved up with someones name on both sides(!), and the pivot point was a rusty mess. Disassembled the razor, re-surfaced the scales tops and blade face, re-pinned the pivot and polished it up.
I see this seller's abundant auctions frequently, and all have the same photo angles which reveal some good things, but conceal some real whoppers….
"Is that dust, hair, ??? on those scales?" (no mention of these flaws in item description. This the the 'best' photo of something not quite right….

Thanked: 4828It's true Bill there is always a risk, however the risk is much higher with some seller, and that is the point of the thread. This particular seller seems to have a high level of deceit.
