I think there's some toe wear, correct me if I'm wrong.....
I'm glad you took the time to bring it to our attention, hopefully he is avoided in the future or decides to take honest photos.

Thanked: 3228It is really too bad that there are not any hard and fast definitions of states of condition. That is by no means anywhere near what I would call Very Good + condition. I guess it is all up to the person doing the grading. Sucks big time.

Thanked: 169Not good... I mean, good if you say it is that and deliver it as such instead of using angles to minimize problems

Thanked: 480He knows exactly what he is selling. And he knows MOST people will take what they get, and never say a word. Crappy photos should ALWAYS be a cause for second thoughts. I have taken gambles on bad photos. But I always bid low, since its just that, a gamble!

Thanked: 237And I'm now living in fear as I have two razors on their way from him. Also he combined the shipping but never refunded me the costs of paying twice. I'm so nervous!! I'm waiting on a friodur and a puma...
Edit:
Just checked ebay and the friodur is a #17, in mint condition. Based on the photos that appears to be true. The puma is a 6/8 #39. This is the one that has potential for being not good.Last edited by prodigy; 04-16-2015 at 12:16 AM.

Thanked: 48017's are supposed to be 7/8 I have seen some "mint" ones that are more than a little smaller. Honing a chip out and polishing a blade still counts as mint, but not "original"
I hope you get a good one!

Thanked: 4828I have several 17's. A mint or NOS 17 will measure up to 15/16, but not all of them are that robust.
