I didn't mean to start this, it started because out shipping costs and a comment i made. I'm not removing my comment either. As Ron Burgandy would say " well that escalated quickly."

It was my bad, apologies, not your fault, it was mine for mentioning it....sheesh, I just realized we're being so typically Canadian running around apologizing....

I wouldn't worry too much, it was mentioned just in passing and so was the correction about the free part. I am sure if left at that that no feathers would have been ruffled. It is just that some people like to crow about "the best country in the world" at every possible opportunity and others take exception, almost positive I am not the only one, to hearing that monologue on a fairly constant basis.

Now that International Relationships are back to normal,,,, I'll leave the AK at home tomorrow, when headed to the Dragon Buffet,,,

,,,,,,,,6 years ago I got my son a nice Ipod for his music & let him pick 5 songs a month from iTunes to download onto it,,, we were riding down the highway & he plugs the iPod into the car stereo,,,,the first song that blasts out is "O Canada" ( Canadian National Anthem, for you non-Canadians) ,, I da%n near wrecked the car. I asked, "What made you get that?' He says, "The hockey games dad, I like hearing it when they play it at the arena."
I get a dose of O Canada at least once a month,,,,

Still laughing about this one John, worth pulling it forward a page.
Timmy's is like a temple up here, lol.
Duncan donuts, as well as Krispy Kreme both tried for footing in Canada over the years, but as I understand it, they focus on the donuts flavor and we focus on the coffee flavor.

It is kind of funny because they are not that popular in British Columbia. Here the ruling monarch of coffee shops is by a landslide Starbucks. There is an intersection in Vancouver that has four Starbucks. They have a following but not like they do in the other areas of Canada.

Agreed - I hate Tim's coffee...tastes like dirty water mixed with oily cream as far as I'm concerned, StarBucks for me, venti Americano with an extra dose....
