Thanked: 4828I am not certain it is over, however the seller issued a full refund and I still have the razor. Oddly enough I have not heard a single word from the seller. Not a peep. I started trying to communicate and just kept escalating in an attempt to get some sort of report. It's over, I have a razor, but it is still quite unsatisfying.

Thanked: 4828He issued a refund but no shipping label. Apparently he got his letter from Ebay today.

Yes, the large company buys the small foreign one then claims the HQ is out of the US and voila, no taxes to the US where all the income is derived.
The easy road is rarely rewarding.

Thanked: 4801) I have had Tims coffee. WAY better than StarShmucks.
2) DD coffee is now crap compared to what it used to be. For that matter, so are their donuts.
3) Did you really think the seller was going to cough up that insane return shipping? (they are not required to pay that either, only refund the original shipping price)
Be glad you got the refund, use the money to go buy some fresh beans and brew up a pot in celebration of not being "burnt"

Thanked: 4828Thanks for that, remember this is suppose to be a good thing. In the correspondence from Ebay it looked like they were saying he had agreed the item was not as advertised and if he wanted it back he was to pay return shipping at the rate given. Which Ebay said was UPS or whatever was cheapest. In the area I am in I doubt anyone can compete with Canada Post, as ridiculous as that sounds. I am happy for a favorable to me settlement.

Thanked: 4828I was just looking through it and it looks like three different threads all running together, everyone ignoring the stuff not relevant to the thread they are responding to. I think it is funny too.

I work for Purolator....So yes the shipping rates would be hella high to ship to Japan from Canada. Canada Post would be the cheapest. UPS..... I stay away from....they love to nail people with HIGH brokerage fees..... I think the seller will just loose the sale and not worry about the razor being returned. And I sure eBay gave him a fair warning not to do stuff like this again or maybe get banned from selling on there.
Is it over there or over yonder?
