Betcha 10 to 1 that thing has cell rot going on.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

One can only hazard a guess Phrank...
Of course it need the edge fixed.
Not that big a deal (hopefully no cracks)
Then it all depends on the rust/patina as some call it.
Hand sanding because I hear these blades are THIN.. again hope it is okay.
Definitely NEED to rescale (EBONY would look good I think)
If all went well then you would have something you could be proud of.
If all didn't...then it would at worse be a piece of trash at best a display piece.
This is all speculation anyway because who knows unless you have it in your hand.
Might not be worth the effort to even give it a try...

Thanks, I'm just reading in SRP about how to potentially hone a slight frown from a blade, and the frown on my face as well...
I'll leave magic razor repairs to the pro's like you...I just read bread knifing is a last resort type of thing...the more I read about honing and restoration, the more it's easy until you actually do it...who said that???

Like I said some time ago Mr L was telling me that one thing you never want to do ever is take the likeness of the Grim Reaper and put it on anything cause the real dude doesn't like it at all and you don't want to get him mad at you. Luckily for many shavers out there the reaper is working overtime these days keeping up but if death ever takes a holiday you all better hide those razors pronto.
Of course if you want Mr L can keep the Reaper away from you guaranteed. He has a special this month. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
