No doubt one of the largest American-made razors ever, I think.

It went for a bit less than it probably would have. I think he bled final value off of both his listings by not breaking them up with some distance. That and I still think that has pita microchipper potential. Wish whoever bought that were on here just to weigh in once it is on a hone.

If the back were a bit cleaner I would have threw something hardcore its way. Or if the etch were a bit more lively in preservation, or the mark for that matter. It's an interesting study in how we all approach these things if anything...

Only one of those you will see, I think. Seems he got more for the FBU? It was certainly nice. The Stenton is much more rare, I think.
'Devil Stenton' There was a badass! Where is that thread?

An 8/8+ stenton sold not too long ago and was on the bay forever. It was in horrible lime green g10 which did not help the cause. I'd like an E.L. & Co or a giant marshes. I'm ticking off makers slowly. Takes time to fi d those and then find them not thrashed

I promise you. Lots are ruining history for their vanity. (whatever that is?)

It's kind of why I am picky. I like stock restos. Make the blade period correct and as tidy as possible, recon the horn if possible 1:1 duplicate if necessary.

The hardest part is the mustache area, the scoop move gets difficult with a big blade.
