I'm not good with optical illusions. But it makes sense now that you mention it because a lot of the razors had the same thing. I just couldn't wrap my brain around that one!

I don't know about cellophane tape, but it does look very like duct tape residue. Very well could be that.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
