    Exclamation Vandalia, Ohio area!

My jaw dropped when I came across this listing!

In this one, they stated that there are over 200 shaving mugs. And Bay Rum barber's bottle. They also nonchalantly mention two dozen SRs.

    ...!!!

Oh! Did I mention: the majority of the mugs appear to have either a brush, or a SR, or BOTH in them!?!?

I'm sort of sorry for feeding everyone's 'ADs with this thread... but, I don't have the funds. So it's better you than me!

    Quit the job!

I may actually be able to bid and have family from Dayton pick it up....

Oops, slight omission on my part. That was suppose to read: "They also nonchalantly mention two dozen 'common' SRs.".

As dinnermint alludes to, many auction companies have protocols in place for what is known as an "absentee bid". PM me for the phone number, and I'll dig it up later tonight when I have two seconds to rub together.

Which reminds me. Technically speaking, collusion between bidders is illegal. But personally, I won't discourage anyone from having a gentleman's agreement through PM's. I doubt a couple members here could could have enough of an effect on the prices to be "damaging". Especially with such a nice/large collection. IMO, any "agreement" would be more along the lines of "...would you mind staying away from (style D)?" - "...I really like (brand B)!" This is not me suggesting such a scenario, but I also can't prevent the actions of others.

There's an auction going on today if anyone is interested.

    Liebe Auction Service

It starts at 5pm, so a little late notice, but perusing the pictures showed a few razors/brushes/scuttles available.

I cannot guarantee that some of these actually contain razors (DE/SE again), but I see at least one Vallet brand w/box. Is that a barber hone in the top-middle of this pic??
