My Hydra has arrived as well. I'm still at work for another couple weeks though.

If anyone is interested I posted my thoughts in another thread in the razors section. Great razor though very happy. CCS and bbs with the factory edge.

I'm glad people are getting their razors, but this still doesn't seem to add up. If the UK retailer is getting rid of HIS stock, then why are the razors being mailed from Portland?

I'm not going to assume the retailer is in the U.K., just because he has a U.K. eBay account. For example, I could move to England and continue to use my U.S. eBay account and show items as shipped from England. It might confuse the British, but I could still sell my razors.
It might be as simple as that.

That might be the case, and maybe the seller ended up moving to Portland.

That would might cause a very unpleasant surprise to EU citizens unaware of this who buy from this guy. Suppose I would buy one of his razors. If shipped from the UK I will get the razor without having to pay VAT, if shipped from the US I would have to pay 21% VAT plus a few % handling costs in the Netherlands, payable to the postman. In Germany I would have to collect the package from the nearest customs office, 3/4 of an hour by car from here, open the parcel in front of a customs officer and pay 19% VAT there and then.

Says shipped from Portland. Dunno. From the app, I don't see anything suggesting he's a UK seller. Odd. I wonder if it's a different version or an ebay thing.

It's says shipping is from Portland.

People were worried because of this.
