Are any of the ones I got in that lot decent razors?
Except the Wade and Butcher of course

I've never heard of the JW Kong before.....but I have an IXL and a Tonsorial Gem. The other Sheffield razor should be good as well (good English steel)!

All those lots had good razors and hones in them IMHO - 3 weeks ago I'd have bought them all without thinking about it....lol........

You kids and your crazy RAD.
It's times like this that I'm really REALLY glad that I hate eBay and am doing my best to stay away from it.

I actually had a plan for a few of those razors. I was going to give a few of them away to newbies who are just starting out on the forum. Once I get them, and I see a few that don't need a lot of work, I'll try and contact one of the honemeisters on this site and see if we can get the nicer ones honed and shave ready for a new member. Just my way of trying to give back...I'll keep you guys posted

My lot just arrived in the mail today and everything's in very good shape. They'll all require minimal restoration efforts. Hopefully everyone else that picked up a lot have the same luck.

I'm gonna try to find some antique stores around here that have shaving stuff to get lots. We'll see how that works out.....
I still don't trust Ebay
