Thanked: 77Congrats on the Blue Steel, Glen. That looked like a great snag. You're filling out your Kinfolks line.
What was up with the Friodur? Said "new", "mint unused", but it looked like there was uneven hone wear and the pics made it look like it was a 5/8 at the heel and 7/8 at the toe... did they come that way? (I did love that spine though)Last edited by Quick; 04-06-2009 at 04:22 PM.

The snipe programs bid within the last few seconds, right. So, if my max is higher than yours, it doesn't work. I guess I don't fully understand the point of it.

Ooh, I've got one of those Kinfolks Blue Steels that I've never honed up yet. I should put an edge on it and give it a go around, eh?

Thanked: 13246
Very simple, I can set the snipe and walk away and never be locked into the bid until the last six minutes.... If I did the same thing on just e-bay I am obligated from 6 days out so to say.... What if I found a better one three days after I posted a bid???? what if I tell you about the razor in chat the next day, and you say "Dam I have the same bid set",,,,, with a snipe I can pull it no harm no foul !!!!

Thanked: 77better yet. Let's say you want a Blue Steel Special and there are six different auctions for one of those that end at different times across a few days and mostly when you might not be available. Most snipe programs will let you set a price for each one and then group them together. If you win one auction in the group it cancels the rest of the bids.
