Ditto!
Any real business that intends to make a profit and that is serious about selling those items should be happy to get the free advertising that will be seen by 15,000 guys that are looking to snatch up their items. But if the sellers can't be bothered by such mundane considerations as actual cash sales then I totally understand their reluctance. Running a store as a cover for something else can be a real quandary I guess :-)

Thanked: 125I have spoken with the owner of the shop, and she is reluctant to allow me to post photos of any of the items. I agree that it is kinda dumb, but its her shop and she can run it however she wishes...
As for what there is still available, as far as sets go, there is a Keen 2 blade cased set, 1 or two others that I do not remember the names of, and then the prised set: Wade & Butcher 7 day set!
The W&B set is fantastic, and really neat too. There is 1 ivory handle, and 7 detachable blades, labeled Monday through Sunday with, IIRC black lettering. Really really nice set that would make rival collectors simply drool

Thanked: 19The W&B set sound nice but you need to find a way to post pics with that or at least post pics with another W&B set like that one. It does not have to be that exact one. post a link for wiki or something and than just describe the condition of the actual set in the store compared to the one showed in the pics. Honestly I am very very interested but as I said I am not from US so there is no way for me to visit that store therefor I need to see pictures if possible.

Thanked: 125Well! Looks like we are in luck. I managed to find a similar set, that has the exact same design as the W&B set, just a different brand/make.
This set is different only in appearance. It has a Mother of Pearl handle, and the blades do not have as much etchings as the W&B set. The W&B set is very ornately etched. Also, the W&B set has an ivory handle. This should give you an idea of what the razor set is like tho, and IMO looks just as nice.
This is basically what the set is like:

Thanked: 125Pretty sure they were wedgy, around 1/4 ground, but I may be wrong.
I'll have to call Betty or stop by and find out for sure.

@ $750 I want to see The set. Not one that is sort of like it. As a full fledged shaver and a half azzed collector it would have to be one heck of a set for me to plunk down that much for it. Sham has a set on ebay that would fill the bill for a good example that could be used and admired. Here it is. Not perfect but not a king's ransom either.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
