So, here's a moment of zen for you guys. Blow up the most current pictures with the box, and it reads "GlobusMEN" rather than Globusmann. That wasn't in the seller's original listing...

I don't actually know they are genuine, but the difference Globusmann/Globusmen sounds like the difference Weltmeister/Worldmaster, that is: the same thing only the one in German, the other in English. Maybe production meant for the States ?
The scales look to be genuine high class scales though, I have exact this type of scales on my Bartmann razors.
Has anyone actually asked the guy about where he got his razors ?

Thanked: 0I searched for Globusmen and Globusmann in Google and didn`t see any labels as given on pics above. Also it seems that the labels on both sides of the tang are applied with paint. I found nothing of such kind in my search results. Maybe someone on SRP has a Globusmen with labels like this?
SonnyXYBoy, maybe you are the seller of this item on e-bay? Or maybe you can tell something about this razor?Last edited by Slava; 07-27-2011 at 05:50 PM.

Straight Razor "GLOBUSMEN GOLD" Solingen Nos! WW2 Rare | eBay
That said, I've never seen one with the logo looking painted, or silk screened.

Thanked: 0Caydel, about Straight Razor "GLOBUSMEN GOLD" Solingen Nos! WW2 Rare | eBay there is one little interesting thing. There was the same auction recently on e-bay. Also it was earlier, and in last year, and on some other sites (can`t refresh memory where I saw it). And always it was sold with the same description, particularly - "You'll never find another GLOBEMAN GOLD like this. No doubts !" and "I have been only few razors" (few razors was Dorko and smth else). And the same pics was in description (e.g. - Straight Razor "GLOBUSMEN GOLD" Solingen Nos! WW2 Ra (10/28/2010)...).
I do not want to say that it is 100% replica. But could it be kept in stock in after-WW2 Europe with known economical situation of its time? I am sure in the near future we will see the same "only few razors" on ebay. Maybe some seller really has a heap of NOS razors from early 40-s.
Now about the pics given by me above. I think there is no problem to paint such label on any noname Solingen razor, put it to the box with suitable label, and call this set "Globusmen from 1960`s".
