Your option is to wait until they fix the shipping back to zero, if they don't, report them to ebay, because increasing the shipping after the end of the auction is against their terms.
And don't pay for the item, they will not be able to win a complaint against you when they are the ones who violated the sale terms.
Unless, of course you want the razor even with the expensive shipping, in which case, you pay and get it, then report them to ebay and leave negative feedback due to their violation.

They don't need any proof, they have the invoice the seller generated, so they know the seller put on shipping charges that were not in the listing. You should call ebay though - they often have long wait times, but then they'll tell you exactly what's going on and what you can do about it.

I can't read the guy's mind but ..... a medium flat rate box is about $14.00 for priority shipping. A small is half of that. A fatboy comes in a relatively fragile plastic case and the guy might want the added protection of the larger box with the additional packing. Now I skimmed the thread so I don't know if the shipping amount was posted in the auction description/details but if it was the seller is within bounds. Shipping via USPS is going up again on January 22nd. I remember the good old days of three cent stamps for post cards and five cents for letters. Eventually these will be the good old days. Save your money.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I'll tell you, there are enough companies who have turned their shipping departments in money makers by charging big bucks for shipping and then using a bottom tier shipping service from UPS or Fedex which takes 2 weeks to ship within the U.S. So guys trying to do the same doesn't surprise me or upset me. I just ordered a heavy shirt from Duluth Trading and they charged me $15 to ship it. It came in a plastic shipping bag. I ran the charge on the UPS site and I could have shipped same for $9 and that's standard ground shipping. They sent it lower priority and I don't get the volume discounts they get. I figured they made $5 profit on that. Multiply that by all the orders they process and it's big bucks.
