You can probably send it back, open a dispute on ebay for item not as described and once the seller gets the razor you'll get your money incl. the shipping to you. But you'll probably have to pay for shipping to the seller.

Thanked: 94It may never be a Mint '58 fat boy, it is still a working '58. I have already started cleaning and lubing it and all parts seem to work. In the end though the seller was unethical and slow, I still have a work horse of a razor.
I did send an email stating my unhappiness with her lying about shipping and the condition and I left negative feedback (I hate that I had to, but really there was no other choice)

Thanked: 1195Well, to be fair I did state that it was "a lot more reasonable" , but gugi's numbers reaffirmed my speculation on insured shipment prices within the US (comparable to rates within Canada). For that amount I was assuming that insurance and tracking was included, which is my fault for assuming of course. I'm not sure about postage rates in Belgium as I have no experience with postage on your side of the world.
That being said, I did originally think a fair resolution had been reached, until I saw the actual price of postage and condition of the article. With apologies to the OP, this one was a mess right from the start
