Thanks for the reminder - I was curious how high that one was going to go. Yikes.

Don't get me wrong - I think that is a beautiful razor: I love my W&Bs, and my current favourite shaver is also a 'For Barbers Use' (although a J.Wolstenholm). So I am a big fan of W&B as well as the big chopper format of a for barbers use, but yikes!

I was watching that one just out of curiosity. It is a beautiful exemplar of the type, but almost $900? These W&B meat choppers have gone through the roof-worse than Filis!

edit: I think it's sorta funny how in the "More Chances to Get What You Want" under it are a couple of Gold Dollars-so I'll just get one of those as a consolation prize.

Good Lord that is ridiculous. For that amount of money one could probably commission a one of a kind custom razor, oh well. If it shows up here on SRP we'll know who has some deep pockets. Hope the new owner enjoys it for years to come.

Here are my two. The bottom one was $80.00 in a regular auction and the one above was a lucky find, listed a few minutes with a buy it now of $15.00 USD + shipping !
