I feel exactly the same way. I'm beginning to think the high buff is going to be a trend.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

my dad taught me "Its easier to sell Sh-t that looks like gold than it is to sell gold that looks like Sh-t"

and he was right. Anytime I use the old "shiny penny" photos, I get higher bids on the razors. I think most of the insane high prices being fetched are razors going to people who simply do not know better, or are only purchasing them to put them on display so as to impress their friends with their manliness.

i picked one up for a little over $100 a couple months ago , you will find ya one ...
as far as buffed and non buffed goes im kinda torn between the 2 choices ... i have a wedge that needs some scales that has big dings and a couple deep pits that i hand sanded and the damage looks good on the blade , kinda character so to speak .. i needed new scales on my W&B and wanted to have one restored so i had mine buffed out while it was getting new horn , it really wasnt bad to begin with but either way it was and is an awesome ...

I've had this on my watch list for a long time now. Great looking blade. But personally I would probably get a few revisor razors instead of the one.

That razor has been re-listed a few times.... I've had it on my 'watch list' for a while now, just curios if it will find a new owner for that price.
