For the love of God, it comes in a shoebox.
One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

I'd tend to agree with Max's theory. And I bet you whoever won it will not be getting it.

I didn't get that one but lightning does sometimes strike twice ..... i did get this one on an originally listed 'buy it now' and it cost me a whopping $50 bucks. The seller turned out to live 20 minutes away, I didn't know him, and we met at a Dunkin Donuts halfway between where he lived and my place. I paid cash and collected the razor with no shipping charge. A 10/8 Joseph Rodgers & Sons in the box that belonged to his grandfather. It had a chip and I had quite a bit of honing to do. Lost a bit of the edge and it ended being 1/16 shy of the original 10/8, but for fifty bucks and a few hours work I'm happy.

Thanked: 1184Some of the best things in life are free. Or darn near it .
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

It was almost 5 years ago Max. A few years ago I picked up a very nice W&B Celebrated FBU 9/8 when a seller on the bay listed it for $15.00. I just happened to log on when it first came up. I don't remember the guy's screen name but a few years ago a member of SRP did the same thing with a blue/green escher complete with slurry stone in the original paper box for $40.00. Just a matter for being in the right place at the right time.
