    Stropping 50-60 times before a shave and 40 after is actually pretty common guys...

    Water in the sink.
    Water on a cloth;
    hung over the sink.
    hang over the sink.
    Swipe blade on cloth.
    Rinse blade when I'm done.
    Put it aside.
    Put it aside.
    Rinse the little cloth;
    Hang it up to dry
    Until next shave.
    Until next shave.
    Strop the razor blade,
    Rinse out the dirty sink.
    And rinse it twice.
    And rinse it twice.
    Then do a little dance.
    Make a little love.
    Get down tonight.
    Get down tonight.

    It is all a goll danged celebration in my world.

    Or you can do all your stropping after the shave, there is a thread about it somewhere, it is supposed to give a better shave, though I don't know about that.

    I use a wet sponge for the lather. Its like a chamois block so the hair doesn't get into it and it leaves the blade moist but really clean. Also have a flannel I use to dry?wipe if nessassary and a towel hanging near by for my hands.
    My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed
