The process for account creation and checkout is exactly the same as on any English site. Common sense and Google Translate should get you through it! (They have a thing to translate entire web pages, don't they?)
Maybe not the best advice in the world, but the worst that could happen is that you put your address in a bit of a weird format, or you get lost before you complete it. Your card details won't even be accepted if you enter them wrong.
Granted, I probably wouldn't attempt to order from a website in a language I didn't understand. You could email them but would they accept a transaction via email? I guess you'd have to fill out the online forms one way or another...

The Shaving Room
This looks good.
"For sale is this mint condition, as new Dovo "Black Star" 5/8 straight razor. I bought this from The Invisible Edge so here's their description:
Dovo’s 141583 model ‘Black Star’ razor - a very classy piece with black tang and spine, setting off the gold-washed blade to perfection. On this model the Pakkawood scales are stained deep red, enhancing the overall look of quality. Supplied in attractive blue metal case as shown.
This razor comes shave ready and has had minimal use from new as I've decided straight shaving isn't for me. Other than being made shave ready it has not been honed since. I also have my Thiers Issard Le Grelot and a 3" Big Daddy strop for sale here as well so I'd happily consider a bundle price.
£77.75 inc postage and paypal fees"

Thanked: 8I have no experience buying from Whipped Dog, but seems like most people on here that have dealt with him would recommend him with no problem. Getting the sight unseen razor and poor man strop kit should be close to your budget and maybe you could find a store local to you and purchase a brush and some soap to get you started for now.

Thanked: 8Personally I would go with the Dovo…at least you can see and know what you're getting. I've never been a huge fan of not knowing what I'm getting :shrug"

It seems that cheaper razors are in short supply on the classifieds at the moment, there are often razors for around $50. But don't forget that new stuff gets listed fairly regularly. When I was looking for a razor I contacted a mentor from this site and asked them their opinion of the razors I was looking at, the feller I was talking to also honed razors so he could look at the blades and give some idea of whether they were knackered or not, though obviously it is only advice and when you actually have the razor the condition may be different than that shown in the photos. Though I should point out that these were ebay razors, not razors from the classifieds here.

Thanked: 485Probably an unusual recommendation for a newbie, but there's a bloody nice frameback in the classifieds here that's honed and ready to go.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
