Why did I think this? Close observations of the pic originally posted, with no knowledge of the listing you bought then through. They look like they were gold washed on the tang & spine. Sometimes lighting and/or camera quality/settings can add or negate this tonal look. But, the jimps on the tangs had uneven tones of gold. This indicates that the gold wash has worn off on some of the razors, which indicates use. Monday, Tuesday, & Saturday have the most gold wash missing.

In the end, the most important thing is not what we think, it's whether or not you are satisfied with the purchase!

It's all good! Like I said, I never really expected them to be NOS. I've seen way too many guns come in the shop the owner tried to tell me it's "Never Fired." This ain't my 1st rodeo. lol

For what I gave for them, considering the OG box and 6 of the 7 are still usable, I'm happy with them. 6 are shavers with 1 antique box. So, it's all good! I used Tuesday this morning and it turned out smooth.

First shave with the razor today. Took a little longer than I thought (giving the good condition that it was in) to make it shave ready.
Shave wasn't bad, still needs more work to make it perfect[emoji33]

Thanks to Obie's fantastic soap information I have started my journey to collecting all the top tier soaps.

Coming from Srd all the soaps I cant find in Australia except the Abbate. So Buame.be, Castle Forbes sandlewood, Esbjerg orange and vetiver, Klar Sandlewood and Original Xpec.

And thanks to Obie's help via PM I choose the Thater 4292/5 two band to help with all the lathering to come.
